    Optical/Optical Design Engineer-Photonics and Laser Engineer-R&D Engineer-Modeling and Simulation Engineer

    I currently work as a lecturer in the Opticianry Program at a university in Türkiye. Furthermore, in 2022, I founded HYPERION ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INC. with the support I received under TÜBİTAK 1512 for my project titled “Cancer Screening and Preliminary Diagnosis” device. I actively work in positions such as project manager/manager, business development engineer, and modeling and simulation engineer in the work packages of projects within my own start-up company. For approximately six years, I worked in the private sector in the fields of defense and aerospace, materials and chemistry, biotechnology, and medical sciences, holding positions such as physics engineer, R&D engineer, optics specialist, optical engineer, and R&D manager. I am also currently gaining additional experience for about three years by writing and managing my own original projects within my company. I am also actively involved in some work packages of these projects as an optical engineer, modeling and simulation engineer, business development engineer, and project manager.

    Throughout my life, I’ve continued to improve myself both academically and gain experience through work in the industry. I’ve gained experience and knowledge primarily in optics and acoustics, as well as electronics and software. Because my life’s purpose is to constantly learn and improve myself, I can say that I’ve reached a level of expertise by working in a wide variety of interdisciplinary fields. In every company I’ve worked for, I’ve strived to gain competence and experience in almost every field. I’ve done this primarily by quickly acquiring knowledge and translating it into practice. Therefore, my career strategy, particularly academically, is to develop an innovative idea from knowledge and work on it until it’s transformed into a commercial product.

    Msc Diploma at Quantum Science and Technology (Master’s Degree) | Gebze Technical University

    In this master’s program, I aim to have my thesis study on both the design and
    development of SQUID circuits (100 MHz and above Josephson Parametric Amplifier)
    and related quantum computing. However, if I am accepted to your doctoral program,
    I would like to conduct this thesis study with you. In the related master’s program, I
    am taking quantum optics, quantum computing, quantum cryptography, Microwave
    Systems for Quantum Technology courses. I started this master’s degree especially to
    increase my academic knowledge in the field of quantum technologies and to conduct
    academic studies in this field. I started my master’s degree in order to prepare for a
    doctoral program in this field.

    1) My entrepreneurial project, “Cancer Screening and Preliminary Diagnosis Device,”
    specifically analyzes the biomechanical properties of cellular structures from acoustic
    waves scattered by specific frequencies sent to cancerous and healthy cells.
    2) In 2022, with the government grant I received for my “Cancer Screening and
    Preliminary Diagnosis Device” project, I founded my start-up company, HYPERION
    ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED. I have been actively involved in project
    management and business development, particularly in the following projects.I
    continue to work as optical engineer/photonic engineer/modelling and simulation
    engineer/software engineer positions some specific field of some projects.
    3) In the continuation of the related project, “Development of an Integrated AcousticOptical and Holographic Cancer Screening Device,” I have been working on developing
    the optical simulation and setup system for the digital holographic scanning section.
    This project also includes developing the optical design, signal detection, and
    processing system.
    4) In the project titled “Development of the design of diffractive trifocal
    (progressive)/multifocal based lenses that provide maximum efficiency in farintermediate-near vision and optimal energy distribution using machine learning”, the
    use of ANSYS Opticstudio program within the scope of mathematical modeling and
    optical design development of trifocal IOLs with particularly innovative features and
    the achievement of optimal design using machine learning method.
