Legal counsel(Europe)MunichFull-timeConsulting / Legal / Education / ResearchResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a highly qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business in Europe. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues.
Responsibilities:
Give accurate and timely counsel on a variety of legal topics (data protection, labor law, corporate law, compliance and external investigation, contract negotiation, and ESG etc.)
Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation, insight into and identify daily legal&compliance risks in the European region, especially the pre-compliance layout of core businesses in the European market, responsible for the formulation and optimization of relevant legal policies, contract templates and guidelines.
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
Responsible for responding to cases/disputes/investigations in the European region, and responsible for building compliance capabilities of the European business teamsQualificationsRequirements and skills:
Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a business environment for at least five years (not less than 2 years of work experience in a company)
Excellent knowledge and understanding of GDPR, relevant European law and procedures
Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
Outstanding communication skills
BSc degree in Law or J.D. degApply
