How would a price comparison website work without prices? It won’t! That’s why our duty is to connect and maintain hundreds of advertisers around the globe by developing next-generation technologies to ensure that millions of users can find their ideal hotel at the best price. We are looking for a Student to join our team as a QA Engineer alongside passionate software engineers, QA engineers, and product owners, building, testing and maintaining our advertiser micro-service infrastructure.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Be part of our agile team and help to enlarge and maintain our advertiser base on trivago by testing microservices to access their APIs
• Design, maintain, & improve our test automation infrastructure
• Work alongside developers and project owners to detect malfunctions and deliver high quality software
• Monitor performance and proactively consult with technical account managers on missing opportunities

What you’ll need to thrive:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills allowing you to prioritise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Solid analytical skills enabling you to detect data inconsistencies
• Fluency in English (verbally and written) language
• Fanatic learning ability, always striving for personal development

Stand out with:

• Understanding of APIs
• Knowledge of databases like MySQL
• Willingness to acquire coding skills by implementing scripts for automation
• Understanding of test automation and Java / Python
