Product Policy Manager

·  Developed TikTok’s first Public Service Announcement on combating human exploitation and human trafficking globally (TikTok Newsroom). The project has become a flagship success story featured in The Times UK, Politico, The New York Times et al.

·  Led global workshops on XFN Trust and Safety Policy in Seoul, South Korea training 50 Product Policy Managers from across the world on emerging policy development via case studies: product features in generative (AI) such as developing policies for new ML, NLP models, consultations for the EU AI Act, Team RED at TikTok, geopolitical disruptions, and e-commerce.

·  Championed and set up the global Product Policy response group on the Ukraine-Russian development, providing critical product policy guidance to all T&S xfn teams globally, and recommendations to TikTok executive leadership.

·  Provided thought leadership and comments on behalf of TikTok to the Council of EU at an industry level lessons learned initiative titled: Hate and Disinformation in Times of Crisis. The EU Commission will publish these ends of the year 2023.

·  Managed the largest policy compliance project in EMEA: Germany and Austria: NetzDG and Copl-G with non-compliance fines of 40 million euro. Consulted the xfn team on the adoption of the new DSA regulatory compliance program at TikTok.

TikTok, Dublin, Ireland                                                                                                                                    Sep 2020 – Dec 2020 Public Policy Analyst

·  Campaigned the largest portfolio on Hate speech de-escalations by the EU Commission which resulted in placing TikTok higher than industry competitors such as Meta, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram etc. in our first-ever participation round. see full Official EU Commission Report.

·  Led the first TikTok Global Marketization SOP proposal, becoming the new TikTok Global standard for all marketization decisions at the executive level.

·  Developed TikTok’s first Operational Guidelines against Hate speech on the platform. Collaborated with Data Science team and xfn teams to integrate the policy guidelines at a technical and operational level globally. Quality metrics improved significantly.

·  Led and developed the first Infor Smart City – Strategic Framework establishing a mixed methods analysis of 8 US Smart Cities where Infor can become a competitive industry leader in a budgeted $155 billion industry.

·  Led projects on upskilling 13k staff on the latest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integrations, executive sales strategies, market, and partner management landscapes.

·  Collaborated with international organizations: United Nations Mission in Kosova, UNDP, UNICEF, OSCE, EU to train over 1k young professionals on capacity development: project management, effective presentations, negotiations, and persuasion skills.
